Developed and tested using Turbulent Aero technology, the 42/49 is designed for all-day capability with aerodynamic sensibilities. These wheels have been raced at events as varied as the Paris-Roubaix and the Giro D'Italia, and come with a lifetime warranty supported by no-fault crash replacement. Wind tunnel tested using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), the wheels are designed to maximize aerodynamics while enhancing stability. The optimized carbon fiber rim construction allows Reserve to define the exact fiber orientation for each rim model to maximize stiffness and strength without sacrificing weight. The wheelset features external nipples, standard spokes, semi-hooked rim design with no tire limitations, and no rider weight limits.
