Trek Bikes Florida - Returns & Refund Policy
We stand behind what we sell. If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, most eligible items may be returned within 30 days, as long as they meet the conditions below.

1) Return Window

In-store purchases: returns within 30 days of purchase

Online purchases: returns initiated within 30 days of delivery

Holiday extension: items purchased Nov 1–Dec 31 may be returned through Jan 15 (unused + original packaging)
2) Return Conditions (Applies to all returns)
To be eligible for a refund or exchange, items must be:

Unused, uninstalled, and in brand-new, sellable condition

In original packaging in good condition
-
Include all original parts/accessories/manuals/tags

Free from wear, dirt, scratches, installation marks, tire/brake wear, or missing components
All returns are inspected. Items that don’t meet these standards may be refused or may incur a restocking fee.
3) Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)
The following items are not returnable or refundable:

Clearance / closeout / final sale items

Gift cards
-
Labor/service charges
-
Shipping/delivery fees
-
E-bike batteries (non-returnable due to safety/shipping regulations)
4) Restocking Fees
Restocking fees may apply if items are used, installed, incomplete, missing packaging/components, or returned in damaged packaging.
Typical fees:

Minimum 20% restocking fee for used/improper returns (when accepted)

Special orders: 25% restocking fee (when returns are permitted)
5) Bicycles & Large Items (Manager Approval Required)

Bikes require manager approval for any return.

Bikes must show no signs of use and be returned in like-new condition with all included items.

Bikes that have been ridden or show wear may be declined or subject to restocking fees (when permitted).
Shipping Fees on Bikes & E-Bikes (Non-Refundable)
For certain oversized product types especially bikes and e-bikes shipping charges are non-refundable, even if you paid a flat-rate shipping fee at checkout.
Why? Bikes and e-bikes require special handling, packaging, insurance, and higher carrier costs. In many cases, our internal shipping and processing expense exceeds the flat rate charged to the customer, and those costs are incurred once the order ships.
What this means:
- If a bike or e-bike is returned, any original shipping fee paid at checkout will not be refunded.
- Any return shipping costs, if applicable, will also be the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.
- If a return is approved, the refund will apply to the product price only (minus any applicable restocking fees).
This policy does not affect your rights in cases of wrong item shipped, defective product, or shipping damage please contact us immediately so we can help.
6) How to Return an Online Order
Your order number will serve as your RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization) for tracking and processing your return.
You may return eligible online purchases by:

You may return eligible online purchases in person at any Trek Bikes Florida store with proof of purchase. All returns must be inspected and approved by the store manager. Once approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow 1–3 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or financial institution. or

Return shipping: We recommend a trackable, insured method.

7) Damaged, Incorrect, or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or defective, contact us as soon as possible with photos of the item and packaging.

If the issue is confirmed to be our error, we’ll work with you on the fastest resolution and may reimburse standard ground shipping after inspection/approval.
8) Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection/approval.

For cash refunds over $100, a check may be mailed within 10 business days (in-store policy).

Returns without proof of purchase may be declined.
9) Policy Fairness & Safety
We aim to be fair and consistent while ensuring every customer receives new, safe, high-quality products. Trek Bikes Florida reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the conditions above.
