At Trek Bicycle Store it's our mission to energize people with our passion for cycling both in and outside our business. Through quality products, superior customer service and unique opportunities we aim to be the hub of the cycling community. Welcome to the Trek Team!
Joseph and Jane Du Bois have worked over 30 years in the bicycle industry, while Marc Lubin has been a successful entrepreneur for 25 years. He has owned and run businesses throughout the east coast. Together they started the company in December of 2006.
Their first store is located at Coconut Point Mall in Estero, Florida. The Estero store was such a smashing success that it set them up for the opening of the second location in March of 2008. The site they chose was in Naples, Florida. This store opened right before the 2009 recession. During this period, the team focused their efforts around one poignant question: how can we accomplish more, with less?
This led them to streamline many areas of the business so that when the decline began to reverse itself, the business was stronger then ever. Working with Trek Corporate, the decision was made to expand their operations onto the east coast of Florida. The third store debuted in November of 2011 in beautiful Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The goal from day one has always been to create a world-class company for both the customers and the team staff members.
Joseph Du Bois has said “our goal is to create an environment that brings out the best in you. Whether it’s one of our customers that are looking to get into cycling or an employee looking to grow personally, we want to be there to support and empower them.”
